The Miami Beach mansion of Grammy-winning pop star Shakira is back on the market with a new, lower asking price.
The 8,700-square-foot waterfront property returns with a number of aesthetic improvements such as new hardwood floors, custom minimalist furnishings, and a hookah lounge as a nod to the Colombian-born singer’s Lebanese heritage.
Other notable features include a heated outdoor pool overlooking a 100-foot water frontage along Biscayne Bay, an all-white billiards table, and a combination home gym/dance studio.
Shakira first listed the home in 2013 for $14.95million. The price was then reduced to $13.9 million in 2015 before the listing was removed in 2016.
The bright contemporary mansion returned earlier this month seeking just shy of $11.6 million. Even after factoring in the lower asking price and the numerous upgrades put into the home, Shakira is still likely to make a handy profit on the six-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bathroom property. The musician purchased the home in 2001 for $3.38 million.
